'Carragher has two left feet & only played because he's a Scouser' - Diouf's astonishing rant about former Liverpool team-mate
Former Liverpool striker El Hadji Diouf has slammed former team-mate Jamie Carragher, saying he only got to play for the club because he was from the area.
Carragher spent his entire career with the Reds and made over 730 appearances in his 17 years in the senior side, winning the Champions League, UEFA Cup and two FA Cups among other competitions. The former centre-back also made 38 appearances for England.
Diouf joined Liverpool from French side Lens in 2002 in a £10 million move before his impressive World Cup campaign that summer. The forward played 80 games in his three years as a controversial figure at Anfield and scored six goals.
The former Senegal star has repeatedly criticised club legends like Carragher, who he described as a "s*it" and a "f*cking loser" in 2016, and Steven Gerrard since his departure and has said it was a "mistake" to join the club .

Jamie Carragher Named Worst Player he Played With at Liverpool
When Liverpool signed El Hadji Diouf from Lens in 2002 for a reported £10 million, hopes were high. Fresh off his heroics for Senegal in the 2002 World Cup, Diouf was brought in by Gerard Houllier to help Liverpool challenge Arsenal’s dominance in the Premier League.
However, few could have foreseen how disappointing his Anfield stint would turn out. Scoring just six goals in 79 appearances, Diouf left in 2005, leaving behind more controversy than success, with his tenure coinciding with the Reds' wilderness years. His time at Liverpool was only further marred by high-profile clashes with teammates Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, with the latter famously dubbing him his "worst ever teammate."
The Bootle-born defender, who played 737 games for Liverpool in a career that spanned 1996 to 2013, has been highly critical of Diouf in various interviews since those turbulent days together. As someone who was in the thick of it during Liverpool's highest and lowest moments, Carragher would have seen the good, the bad, t

Jamie Carragher: Liverpool legend responds to El-Hadji Diouf's 'turkey' barb
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has responded to El-Hadji Diouf after the Senegalese branded him "the biggest turkey on the field".
Diouf, always a controversial figure in English football, did not enjoy a good relationship with Carragher, who criticised him in his autobiography.
In an interview with French magazine So Foot last week, Diouf was asked who he would least like to spend Christmas with - the answer was Carragher.
After the story came out in the UK, Carragher took to Twitter to respond, laughing it off.
He wrote: "It's better than a donkey and plenty have called me that before!"
Diouf was equally dismissive of Steven Gerrard, who he accused of racism after Gerrard was also critical in his autobiography.
"A great club player and an egotist," he said. "He did not care that Liverpool win, all that mattered was that brand."
