Kylie Ann Minogue, AO, OBE (; born 28 May 1968) is an Australiansinger, songwriter and actress, sometimes known simply as Kylie. She became popular in the late 1980s, because of her role in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours, before becoming a pop and dance singer.

Minogue has won two Grammy Awards: Best Dance Recording in 2004 for "Come into My World" and Best Pop Dance Recording in 2024 for "Padam Padam".[1]

mother originated from England. Carol had lived in Wales until she was 10 years old when her mother and father, Millie and Denis Jones decided to move to Australia for a better life.

Just before Kylie's birth, Ron qualified as an accountant and worked through several jobs while Carol worked as a professional dancer.

Her younger brother, Brendan is a news cameraman in Australia while her younger sister Dannii Minogue is also a singer and television host.
