Virginia Ashley Kruse Barber, June 25, 1941-October 26, 2021 Virginia (Ginny) Barber, age 80, passed away quietly in her sleep on Tuesday, October 26 at home with her daughter and husband by her side. Ginny was born June 25, 1941 to John and Elizabeth (Koob) Kruse in St. Paul, Mn. She graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School where she was active in the Future Homemakers of America (FHA). As State Secretary of the FHA Ginny met her future husband, Donald Barber, at a joint State Leadership conference with the Future Farmers of America (FFA). The couple married in 1961 and had two children, David and Deborah. After college graduation, the couple moved to Red Wing, MN. In 1969 they moved to Owatonna, Mn where they resided until their children graduated from high school. Ginny was active in church, teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. She worked in retail sales managing the cosmetic counter and served as the President

Atiim Kiambu "Tiki" Barber Sr (; born April 7, 1975) is an American former professional footballrunning back who spent his entire 10-year career with the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Virginia Cavaliers. Barber was selected by the Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL draft. Barber retired from the NFL at the end of the 2006 NFL postseason as the Giants' all-time rushing and reception leader. He is one of only four players with 5,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards. Barber was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.
Following his playing career, Barber became a national media presence, notably joining NBC's The Today Show as a correspondent in 2007 and Football Night in America/Sunday Night Football.[2] He has published multiple books.
He is the identical twin brother of NFL Hall of Fame former Tampa Bay Buccaneerscornerback and safety Ronde Barber.
